QSTP company setup
A free zone for registering technology and innovation companies in Qatar.
Qatar Science and Technology Park is a free zone within Education City under the Qatar Foundation. It issues its own licences under the QSTP Licensing Regulations 2024 and admits companies against criteria set by QSTP management. Since September 2026 company registration runs through Companies House Qatar.
The framework
Ownership and tax
100 percent foreign ownership. Corporate tax exemption for QSTP licensed companies, conditional on adherence to the QSTP Tax Guidelines. Duty free import and export within the zone.
Licence types
The QSTP License for companies incorporated in the zone or branches registered there. The Restricted License, granted at the Board’s discretion, with benefits defined case by case. The Service License for providers serving QSTP tenants only, without the tax benefits.
