Media City Qatar licence
The platform for registering media, creative and production companies in Qatar.
Media City Qatar licenses media, creative and production businesses and is one of the official founding platforms listed by the Ministry of Commerce and Industry. Since September 2026 company registration runs through Companies House Qatar.

Film and television production, post-production and visual effects, publishing, advertising and content studios, creative agencies and media technology.
The Screen Production Incentive
The Film Committee at Media City Qatar administers the Qatar Screen Production Incentive. It offers a cash rebate of up to 50 percent on qualifying production expenditure in Qatar, made up of a 40 percent base rebate and an uplift of up to 10 percent for productions that hire Qatari talent, invest in local training or promote Qatari culture. Up to 25 percent of qualifying spend may be incurred in selected neighbouring countries. Eligible applicants must be Qatar registered companies licensed through Media City Qatar.
